The Cathy Taylor School of Dance is located in Auburn, Massachusetts providing quality dance instruction for families from numerous towns within Worcester County. We offer weekly classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop and acro as well as stimulating summer camps and intensives for the recreational and/or competitive dancer age two to eighteen.
Our regular dance season begins in September and ends in early May with our annual recital. Our recital is followed by a six week early summer program where students get more of a variety of subjects including musical theater, fitness, street jazz and more. Within this program our students study with guest ballet teachers and work with in-house faculty members on the importance of versatility, agility, strength and conditioning.
We round out the season with three camps and intensives for male and female dancers of all abilities, ages 2.5-18. We offer themed camps that take our youngest dancers on magical adventures that stimulate their imagination and utilize coordination and fine motor skills. Our pre-teen and teen dancers are exposed to engaging classes with renowned guest artists that challenge their mind, body and soul with technique and acting classes that inspire them to soar to new heights as dancers and individuals.
